Job Description

Our D&E team is growing, which is why we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Architect who is eager to join us in accelerating the future. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up a monodisciplinary system architecture of mechatronic products for our partners. You will manage a project team of engineers and will continuously challenge them to work smarter on our complex and challenging projects, with the ultimate aim of delivering the best functionality to our partners.

• Translating the customer demand expressed in the requirements package into technical specifications for our monodisciplinary projects;
• Constantly staying up to date and envisioning technical improvements for projects, such as innovative and more cost-effective applications. You are a connector across our various sites and strive for close collaborations;
• Pro-actively identifying potential assignments for or on behalf of our clients;
• Offering customers advice on finding innovative solutions;
• Assessing the technical manufacturability and feasibility and preparing a risk analysis;
• You are our discipline’s technical linchpin within the project team and make a significant contribution to our competence management.

Job requirements

• Completed postsecondary/university (HBO/WO) education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering;
• From about 7 years’ experience in managing projects/teams in a similar role;
• You are enterprising with a helicopter view who likes to connect, innovate and improve;
• Good command of the English language;
