Job Description: As Project Buyer you ensure all necessary materials are procured at the right price, lead time, and quality within the agreed project. You prepare for the handover of tasks to the regular work environment within pre-agreed processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Preparation
• Act as the main point of contactwithin the project regarding the quotation process and be responsible forthe entire procurement process.
• Select supplierswithin the project and coordinate with the Manager Purchase/Supply Chainand Manager Quality regarding prototypes and/or series.
• Provide all procurement documentation (price,quality, and logistics agreements) and specifications to the InitialBuyer, Team Leader Purchase, and Supplier Quality Assurance at theclosure/transfer of a project.
• Coordinate the specification process betweenthe engineering department and suppliers (early supplier involvement).
• Monitor the quality (APQP), lead time,procurement prices, and overall costs of project purchases.
• Provide reports on budgeted procurement costsversus actual costs.
• Report to the project team and identifyprocurement risks, taking actions to minimize and manage these risks.
• Procurement
• Purchase materials, raw materials,components, and services based on purchase orders and technicalspecifications related to the project.
• Negotiate price and lead time.
• Monitor order processing and delivery times
• Co-monitor supplier performance and providefeedback to suppliers and the Project Manager.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal andexternal procurement and logistics processes within the entire purchasedepartment.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project purchasing, procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills in English and/ or Dutch, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

• Experience with ERP systems (Navision or similar) is a plus.

• MBO+ / HBO in a technical field

• NEVI 1 & 2

• Knowledge of mechatronic procurement and market knowledge

• Ability to maneuver within uncertainty during periods of D&E and support the project team in coming to decisive solutions
