Job Profile
The Supplier and Quality Assurance is the first point of contact for customers in the field of quality and ensures that quality standards are correctly applied, as prescribed by the customer and legislation. And ensures an accurate and structural solution to customer complaints for the end product. In addition, processes at suppliers are improved and secured with the aim of preventing products/items from deviating from specifications and meeting NTS’s zero defects expectation.

Job Responsibilities
1.           Improve Quality Performance for Customers:
– Guide the process of customer and supplier complaints.
– Ensure effective communication with customers and suppliers.
– Record and resolve complaints in a structured manner.
– Initiate, coordinate, and facilitate 8D research and improvement plans.
– Monitor and analyse Quality performance, identifying trends and making recommendations.

2.           Risk Reduction and Prevention:
– Review the 4PQ rating of existing articles.
– Assess the effectiveness of risk-reducing actions.
– Audit internal departments and suppliers.
– Lead and organize R4V and document reviews.

3.           Organize/Inform:
– Promote and help shape the NTS zero defects Quality policy.
– Motivate, encourage, coach, and influence behavioural patterns.
– Stimulate Q performance improvement across internal departments and the supply chain.
– Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
– Ensure quality registrations in systems.
– Support the QESH manager in implementing, setting up, maintaining, and improving the quality system.

4.           Continuous Improvement:
– Improve processes to safeguard internal and supplier processes.
– Coordinate and record problem definitions, cause analyses, containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
– Initiate, participate in, and/or lead improvement projects/initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills
HBO working and thinking level.
• Knowledge of process thinking and quality management.
• Analytical, technical, and spatial insight.
• Experience with risk reduction methods (PPAP, APQP).
• Experience with problem-solving methods (FMEA, 8D).
• Leadership skills in various roles and situations.
• Ability to act at a strategic, tactical, and operational level.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Customer-aware, with effective communication skills.
• Stress resistance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, spoken and written.
