One-stop-shop for Precision Components
For our customers, we produce complex precision components for high-mix, low-volume, high-complexity markets such as semiconductor and the analytical market. We offer a broad range of state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities, such as ultra-precision machining (milling, turning, measuring, wire EDM, sink erosion, and grinding) and joining techniques such as vacuum soldering. On top of that, we are capable of machining high-precision components of a broad range of materials, such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum (also RSA-443), Titanium (up to Grade 6), Tool steel, Invar, Molybdenum, Inconel, Mu-metal and soft iron. These qualities, taken together with our expertise in cleanroom assembly, make us a one-stop-shop when it comes to creating precision components for OEM’s.
No White Noise
But what does being a one-stop-shop actually mean in practice? That’s simple. In the past, customers needed to have different suppliers to make desired parts. Now, at NTS we can do about 95% of what is needed in-house. The result of that is that production of precision components no longer depends on external suppliers, white noise is diminished, and quality is guaranteed. We often compare it to the classic game of whispering a story one-on-one in a queue: person A whispers a story to person B, person B whispers the same story to person C, and so on. The more people that are involved, the more the story transforms because of white noise. Having a lot of suppliers involved in your production process is the same principle. Long story short: supply chain challenges are overcome because at NTS, we take over the supply chain in-house.
